Narawntapu is the ideal location for families to camp, fish and play, come experience Tasmania's natural coastal environment with amazing beaches, fabulous walks suitable for all ages, bird hide and freshwater lagoon.

The National Park is home to a huge variety of birds and wildlife including honeyeaters, green rosellas, black cockatoos and elusive Sea Eagles as well as a mob of Tasmania’s majestic Forester Kangaroos.

The main park entrance and central visitor facilities are located at Springlawn; here you'll find a Visitor Centre with interactive, interpretive displays, gift shop, free BBQ’s, full picnic and toilet facilities and powered camping sites.

Enjoy some of the best camping in Tasmania, include a wander up to Archers Knob for fantastic views of the park, take a stroll at dusk around Springlawn nature walk or maybe just spend a relaxing day beachcombing along Bakers Beach.

There are campfires permitted in designated campgrounds in designated fireplaces alongside unpowered camping sites throughout the park (Campfires are prohibited during seasonal fire restrictions. Never leave your campfire unattended - it is prohibited).

The friendly Staff in the Visitor Centre at Springlawn, offer guidance on the local birds and animals, camping, hiking, fishing, beach use and will assist with Parks Passes and camping fees.

With its diverse scenery, plentiful native wildlife and cosy coastal camping opportunities, this understated national park is a hidden gem and a place where childhood memories are made.
